Hi everyone, and thank you so much for all your messages re Always the Children. I am overwhelmed by your response, and thrilled that so many are hearing the voices of those in my stories.
I have just returned from 3 weeks in North Wales, where I gave 6 well attended talks. Mainly Women's Institute groups and University of the 3rd Age,plus some book signings.
The collective comment from most is that this book 'made me laugh, made me cry, made me think and I now look at the news headlines with more thought and interest.'
Lots more coming up, and Book 2 is with the publishers right now. A tentative title is Rambling Rose, which was my father's name for me. I never knew this till a few years ago, when my sister told me he often used to say "I wonder how my rambling Rose is doing. I hope she is safe."
Lots more talks coming up - Rotary Clubs etc. If there is anyone out there who would like me to address a group, let me know via my web site. 2012 is already looking busy.

Book two is on it's way
Book 2 is almost done. Very different in mood from Always the Children, this will take you on a carefree ride through Italy, the Canadian Yukon and Arctic and the Red Centre of Australia.
So, if you've ever wondered about Indians, Inuit and Aborigines, the indiginous people of both 'new countries', you'll love these first hand accounts.
